We’ve gotten to hear from the Republican candidates for president (way more than we ever asked for, in fact). But America will finally get to see the Democratic contenders go head-to-head on Tuesday night in Nevada during a debate hosted by CNN. All eyes will be watching closely as Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley, Jim Webb and Lincoln Chafee spar over the economy, environment, foreign policy, labor rights, and more.
Debate moderators Anderson Cooper, Dana Bash, and Juan Carlos Lopez are sure to ask some tough questions of the candidates. But this is your potential future president up on stage. We want to know: what is the one question you would ask the candidates at the debate if you got the chance? Your question can be aimed at all the candidates, or just one in particular. Think about submitting questions regarding big issues in this race like the economy, the environment, education, immigration, criminal justice, or foreign policy. You can ask a facetious question too – just be sure to keep it respectful.
We’ll collect all your questions using Guardian Witness and feature our favorites the night of the debate. And if you come back to Guardian US on 13 October at 8pm ET to follow our live coverage, you may see that one of our journalists has addressed your question in our live blog!
