Evaluation agreement · evaluation-2026-08-18
National Tribune grants the accepting organization a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to retrieve and internally evaluate up to 2,500 metered units per month during the evaluation period.
You may test search, retrieval, citation, embeddings and internal product prototypes. Attribution to The National Tribune and a link to the canonical article are required wherever records are shown to a person.
You may not train or fine-tune a model, redistribute a dataset, commercially republish an article, remove disclosures or provenance, circumvent quotas, share credentials outside the project team, or use the service to build a competing news corpus.
You must consume correction, archival and rights-change events and stop using material when its record prohibits the intended use. Evaluation copies should be refreshed or deleted promptly.
Keys must be kept in a secrets manager and never shipped in client-side code. Notify licensing@nationaltribune.com promptly of suspected compromise. National Tribune may rotate or revoke exposed credentials.
Evaluation access is provided for testing, without a production service-level commitment. Paid availability, support, indemnity, retention and usage rights require a signed order form.
Either party may end the evaluation at any time. On termination, stop requests and delete full-text evaluation records except limited logs required for security or legal compliance.
By accepting, you confirm that you are authorized to bind the identified organization to these evaluation terms and National Tribune’s published privacy and acceptable-use policies.
